Respect public's wish and go away, Cowen
On two occasions over the past week, at the dinner for the queen in Dublin Castle and at the state funeral of Garret FitzGerald, Brian Cowen was among the attendees.
Mr Cowen is now a private citizen; he should think deeply about what the word private means.
Former Taoisigh may have certain entitlements. But no former Taoiseach has been told in such an emphatic way as Mr Cowen what the people think of him. It can be summarised in two words, one of which is off, and off is where he should go.
