Relying on the Gospel facts

Stephen McGowan (Letters, April 10) asks whether we should "start stoning people to death for eating shellfish or for wearing mixed fabric" on the grounds that he believes that Leviticus says so.

However, Leviticus does not say any such thing. Stephen blindly believes in something that is untrue.

He also believes that the Resurrection accounts were written by "people who didn't even see or know Jesus Christ".
