Queen's visit is all about the profits

So, the long threatening has come to pass. Queen Elizabeth II has accepted an invitation from President Mary McAleese to visit the Republic of Ireland. Already the grubby 'fumblers in the greasy tills' are making overtures to entice her majesty to visit their particular neck of the woods in the hope of making a financial killing.
The sole decision on whether an invitation to the British head of state should be issued must be one of morals and ethics, and I believe it to be morally and ethically wrong to issue Queen Elizabeth with an invite to come here. To bow to commercial considerations as the determining factor is unprincipled and self-serving.
As head of all British armed forces, whose appalling record in Ireland needs no re-telling, the queen must be accountable for the many atrocities committed by her forces.
