Putting blame on the powerless
LET'S blame all the unemployed for being out of work.
Let's not blame their former employers, the banks, the politicians and the assortment of incompetents who have brought this country to its knees. Let's have no talk of the "Seanies" or the "Ivors" and the runaway solicitors who have corrupted the Irish business world, doing menial work.
The dodgy elite in Irish political and corporate society sweeping the roads and clipping the road hedges for €210 per week as a form of atonement would be a shocking proposal, regardless of their culpability in the demise of our very independence.
