Publishing receipts is key to transparency

It is very good to see that ministers Leo Varadkar and Frances FitzGerald published the costs of their recent St Patrick's Day trips.
However welcome this move is, they need not feel superior because so far not one single member of the Oireachtas has published sufficient evidence, in the form of receipts and other information, to verify that the expenses they all claim were legitimately incurred.
For example, when the first Oireachtas expense claims are eventually published will we see that Michael Noonan, Enda Kenny and others claim accommodation expenses?
