Prendeville should not be allowed resume job

I take heart that some tweets published in the Irish Independent expressed disgust that Cork DJ Neil Prendeville was permitted to resume his career after allegedly committing a lewd act on an Aer Lingus flight in front of two female flight attendants and a newspaper reporter.
Prendeville claimed to have no recollection of the incident, saying he had mixed alcohol with painkillers. Despite his abject apology, I virulently oppose any attempt to reinvent Prendeville's public career. He made consumed alcohol and medication and he must accept the consequences.
As we in this country slide further into a moral and social abyss, we can no longer look to State or church to lead us. They have been, and continue to be, part of the problem. I do not wish to be of the generation that made moral and ethical responsibility obsolete in this country.
