Politicians with guts would walk in

I SEE another couple of Fianna Failures are jumping ship.
If the incoming administration took a leaf out of this government's stance on the AIB bonus fiasco, they could pledge that the country can't afford these payments, and they would have the backing of voters who actually work to create the wealth that pays for these lump sums. They could also pledge that any pensions will be paid out when the recipient reaches 66, just like the rest of us.
A politician with the guts to state this publicly would walk into the Dail.
