Political advisers escaping the blame

AS WE await the dawning of a Brave New Political World, I am left wondering about the fate of the 50 special advisers to the last Government.
These nameless, faceless, highly paid mandarins must surely share the responsibility for the disastrous state of our exchequer and banks, as well as the health service, where I work.
Fianna Fail and the Greens were culled by the electorate in the recent poll, so why have these same advisers been allowed to quietly disappear without any of the blame that their political masters received?
