When Enda Kenny meets his counterparts in Europe over the bank bailout, he should let them know that he does so with not just a mandate to renegotiate, but a diktat from the electorate to do so.

He should also take heart from a recent article in 'The Times' headed "Ireland is small enough to hold us to ransom".
