Passport tale had a happy ending
My wife and I were due to travel to Barcelona last Tuesday for a three-night stay. It was to be a birthday surprise, but unfortunately my wife's passport failed to arrive back via Passport Express by Monday, so I cancelled the hotel, lost the flights and we decided to spend our break in Galway.
What can I say only it was a blessing in disguise as we have had the best few days break in years -- the hotel, food, shops, attractions and people were first class and we found it to generally to be great value for money.
Well done the people of Galway; we had a ball and will be back. But surely there is a machine capable of printing as many passports as are needed?
