Outrageous use of taxpayers' money

During this time of savage budgetary cuts across the board is it widely known that this Government has committed to give €500m to Northern Ireland to build a road from Aughnacloy to Derry.
At the same time it has halted or scrapped capital road projects in this country. This same Government accused the Irish people of treason for shopping north of the border. Surely this outrageous use of taxpayers' money is equally treasonable.
