Our rage needs an outlet -- at ballot box
SURELY the opening lines from Brian Cowen's favourite song, 'My Way', "And now the end is near, and so I face the final curtain", are an apt banner for Ireland's inevitable stumble over the cliff that Cowen and his friends have brought this nation to.
Cowen wants us to blame the Germans. He has apparently given up on the Lehman Brothers as a distraction (although, ironically, the original Lehman brothers were German).
He has also started, in recent weeks, to blame the "negative attitude" being displayed by Irish people -- who are often struggling to feed or warm themselves -- as he speeds about the place in his state-funded limousine.
