Our litter problem must be addressed

No doubt Ireland has a serious litter problem, with fly tipping becoming more apparent along our roads.
With many families struggling to make ends meet, paying to have domestic waste disposed of in the correct manner is unaffordable so illegal dumping can only get worse.
Local authorities claim they do not have the funding to deal with the regular clean-up required. This growing litter problem will have major consequences for both our environment and tourism and will cost the economy millions.
