Our daughter is not an evil person
I AM so angry right now, I feel I should not put pen to paper – but having just read what the Pope said about gay marriage in Fatima last week, I cannot refrain.
My wonderful daughter, who has done nothing but good in her young life, is gay and has a wonderful partner. They do not deal in drugs or indulge in crime. They do not commit murder or cover up sex abuse. They are not involved in bank scandals of fraud and theft but they are now considered to be an “insidious danger to society”.
I am a Catholic and have been trying to hold on, but how can I when the head of the church incites so much hatred? Perhaps he is trying to divert attention from his own house.
