Only radical steps can save church

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin painted a shocking picture of the state of the church recently in his homily in the Pro-Cathedral.
In effect, the church seems to be dying out in Ireland. Radical measures have to be taken to save Ireland economically; radical measures need to be taken to save the church.
What is needed is a national conference of bishops, representative people, religious and priests to debate and plan for a revitalisation of the church.
