O'Dea deserves to be sacked

THE Taoiseach has told the Dail that the position of the Minister for Defence is safe because Mr O'Dea had admitted making untrue remarks in a sworn affidavit to the High Court and had apologised for doing so.
Surely, however, the fact that Mr O'Dea made the untrue remarks in the first place and then swore an affidavit denying that he made them is reason enough to sack him. Furthermore, he only admitted responsibility when a recording of his comments was produced.
I swear to God, it's worse they're getting!
