Obscene burden being placed on parents
TWO articles in the Irish Independent on June 13 illustrate what an obscenity the Irish State has become. In one we read how funds from the parents of sick children were required to buy a vital medical device costing more than €200,000 -- a device that should be paid for by the Exchequer. However, it seems that the Exchequer is too busy compensating private toll-road operators to the tune of €110,000 a week.
