No apology for lost children

THERE is one apology that the Pope, on behalf of the Catholic Church, has yet to offer and that is to the souls of poor innocent children who were condemned to the insult of Limbo because they had not been baptised as Catholics for whatever reason.
This apology should extend to the distraught parents of these children who, having already suffered the pain of losing a child, could not even cling to the consolation of knowing that their infant was in Heaven.
Suddenly, a few years back, the church admitted that the man-made concept of Limbo was a mistake.
