NAMA nightmare will haunt us for decades

It was some night in more ways than one. As the wind howled across the country, thousands of heads tossed and turned endlessly, some even crying into their pillows like babies.
There was no knowing where their next mortgage payment was going to come from, despite practically living on bread and water for the past several weeks and sitting in the cold by night.
There were no holidays booked, no nights out and no new purchases to look forward to.
