NAMA Eureka!

No matter how hard I try, no matter how much I believe in the Christmas spirit, no matter how much I want the tooth fairy to exist, it all vanishes when I pick up the paper and read history as it's being baked.

NAMA has informed the Revenue that some developers may have . . . ahem . . . hidden assets not known to the State. Wow . . . can I let a bit of air out of NAMA's balloon. Sean Citizen could have told Revenue that when NAMA was being cobbled together.

Meanwhile, the Government and its advisers of "exceptional talent" use the Christmas lull to slip another threatening note under our doors. Water charges of €500 are on the way to top up the house tax.
