More questions, less complacency
WE READ with amazement about Anglo Irish Bank stating blandly that the €22bn given to them by us, the taxpayer, has gone.
Serious questions need to be asked by politicians, by business leaders, and by the people of this country.
Where has the money gone? To whom and for what? The recipients of this money must have deposited it somewhere, where? If they spent it, on what? These are all obvious questions, but no one is asking them.
