Ministers make cosy lifestyle choice

How nice of the Minister for so-called 'Public Expenditure and Reform' Brendan Howlin to give a heads-up to public sector workers about retiring early in order to get their full benefits, before the cuts will diminish their payoff in February 2012. That is what I call caring!

Any chance that he could give the nation some similar pointers ahead of December's Budget? This must be what Joan Burton means by people making a "lifestyle choice": choosing between one class of society and the other.
