Metro North is justified and vital
I'd like to take Gerald Rolf to task for his condemnation of Metro North (Letters, August 2). His concern with the arithmetic of the cost of Metro North prevents him from seeing the benefits to the people it will serve.
Perhaps there's a role for him in the Department of Health.
As for his plan to mobilise taxpayers to prevent the project, I'd say there are a lot more taxpayers in Swords than on Larkhill Road in Sligo.
