Low-tax label is truly misleading

EU Economic Commissioner Ollie Rehn, Taoiseach Brian Cowen and Finance Minister Brian Lenihan may consider Ireland to be a "low-tax country".
God help us if the following list classifies us as a low-tax state: income tax, income levy, health levy, VAT, excise tax, road tax, vehicle registration tax, investment property tax, carbon tax, travel tax, stamp duty, gift tax, inheritance tax, numerous road tolls (despite the very high road taxes) etc.
If that wasn't bad enough, we are now being threatened with higher income tax, water tax, property tax and even more road tolls.
