• As a lifelong and hardened criminal coming close to retirement, I wish to object to this Government cutting back on garda resources and elderly alarms.
I have had to graft hard to avoid these pesky gardai and old ladies with instant response alarms and have had many a good job ruined by these daily hazards.
Now any kid starting out in my business has an advantage over me. It's just not fair. We had to graft hard just to get by . . . now it's being made too easy!
