Lack of timetable driving me mad
Iarnrod Eireann's Passenger's Charter states "we will publish the complete Intercity, DART and Commuter timetable in a booklet annually. There will be a nominal fee for the booklet to cover our production costs" (page 5).
On November 29, Iarnrod Eireann introduced a new timetable for the railway network. I have purchased the railway timetable booklet each year for longer than I care to remember and find it a useful book to carry when travelling. No internet-based timetables or printed individual route leaflets can replace the convenience of flicking through a booklet which contains times for all lines.
In the course of journeys in the past few weeks I have sought to buy a copy of the booklet at a number of different stations but, annoyingly, my attempts have been in vain. I have received a variety of inconsistent responses from staff.
