• I note that Wednesday's lead was written by The Man With No Name, who asked why nobody would help him when he drove into Dublin in a car which he knew was unreliable, and which then broke down.
Fair play to the various "knights" who did ultimately help him. But my advice is to ensure to have the car regularly serviced; maybe carry a spare battery; and join the AA. In other words, paddle your own canoe!
