Kenny can win over electorate

Richard Bruton did Fine Gael an enormous favour last week by lancing the boil that tarnished Enda Kenny's ability to communicate with the Irish electorate.
While he didn't succeed in replacing him -- which may or may not be significant -- we witnessed a very different Enda on the plinth at Leinster House declaring the outcome of the leadership debate last Thursday.
Gone was the cautious expression -- both physical and verbal -- that so dilutes the impact of his message, and in its stead was an open, unguarded presentation with which people could readily associate.
