Keeping faith

In Ireland there is an emerging climate of mutual suspicion and antagonism between those who claim to believe in a God and those who do not.

Intolerant fundamentalism has invaded the world of Christianity and that of humanism and atheism in equal measure.

There are some humanists and atheists who give atheism and humanism a bad name, just as there are Christians who give Christianity and all religious believers a bad name.
