I've no tyme for false 'accents'
If Cal Hyland (Letters, March 12) thinks Brian Dobson's diction standards are atrocious I would love to know what he thinks about some of the plastic empty-heads who talk abyte the traffic conditions in tyne and the traffic heading sythe on the kynty coark ryndabyte arynde rush ire.
And howabyte the clowns who ask you for your accynt number and talk abyte the coast of living? And the forecasters who talk abyte the clydes coming dine on the minetain.
We used to laugh at the upper class 'accents' but at least they weren't false.
