It's time to move on, Mr Myers
IT was with some trepidation that I began to read Kevin Myers' column following the delivery of the Saville Report, which now hopefully lays to rest the darkest day of the troubles.
His modus operandi -- taking a subject of the utmost sensitivity and then trampling his mucky, concrete boots all over it -- was yet again in evidence.
The events of Bloody Sunday had nothing to do with the IRA. It was about the innocent victims of trigger-happy paratroopers, and the innocent people whose names and characters were subsequently besmirched as somehow having deserved what they got.
