Irish don't have the will or imagination to protest

•There is something very sinister going on in the EU. The population is in a state of anxiety over the economic situation. When people are fearful they can be controlled.

We should be protesting and telling our Government: no more of this nonsense. But the fundamental problem is we Irish are lazy. We don't have the will or the imagination to protest.

As a result, our freedom is being slowly eroded as a weak-willed Government gradually bows to the demands and instructions of Germany and France. Who put them in charge anyway?
