How to attract tourist anglers

I ENJOYED the article by John Costello in the 'Review' section of the Irish Independent on Saturday, January 29. However, in it he states that every rod-caught salmon, and the allowable catch is 91,338, is worth €436 to the Irish economy.
This is incorrect as it is only tourist rod-caught salmon that are worth this amount. All other salmon sold legally in Ireland are worth only the price of fish on the day.
While the rivers Moy, Corrib and Munster Blackwater might attract many tourist anglers, the amount of them coming to Kerry has declined drastically over the past few years.
