How many elderly must suffer in HSE care?

I have just finished watching the 'Prime Time' special about care for the elderly provided indirectly by the HSE. I am extremely angry and appalled by what I have just seen.
The HSE is well past its sell-by date. How many children and adults must suffer unnecessarily because of the incompetence of HSE officials? The pathetic answers by HSE assistant national director for older persons Noel Mulvihill and Minister of State for Older People Anne Brady indicate that they should resign or be sacked with immediate effect.
People's lives are at stake and Ms Brady sees no need for regulation? The mind boggles. How many corpses does she need? I trust Age Action and others will stand up and demand resignations and, if necessary, sackings. Decent employees in the HSE should also stand up and expose incompetence.
