Hospital allowed us say 'goodbye'

Three months ago, my father suffered heart failure on the morning of my wedding in a remote spot in west Cork, an hour before we were due to walk up the aisle together.
As his pulse was intermittent, my brothers continued to carry out CPR until the excellent cardiac resuscitation and ambulance services team arrived.
The ambulance team maintained his pulse by stopping three times to resuscitate him on the 20-minute journey to the local hospital in Bantry.
