Grammar in RTE not the problem

It is not the bad pronunciations or grammatical errors of those who work in the news and current affairs department of RTE that is the problem, as Kevin Myers asserts (Irish Independent, October 27).
It is the fact that they have been inside the tent of the ruling elite for years. There they became addicted to repeating taxpayer-funded, spin-doctor press releases. So much so that they forgot to tell the rest of us, until it was too late, that what was going on behind closed doors was in danger of bankrupting the country.
