Get real

• In the overall European context, as a relatively small, open, peripheral economy, we really have little or no clout.

For the Taoiseach to suggest that what happened early on Friday morning last, at the meeting of the heads of governments, as a seismic change for Ireland -- when, basically, we were being thrown a few 'crumbs' -- is an insult to our intelligence.
