Germans and French are right to attack us

The French and German governments are perfectly right in pressuring the government to increase its rate of corporation tax.
The present 12.5pc is both demeaning of our labour force and a sneaky stab in the back for our European partners who gave us massive funding in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s and have now come to our aid again.
The Irish demand for a cut in the bailout interest rate, while insisting that our corporation tax rate is non-negotiable, is a classic example of its 'all take and no give' mentality.
