Full circle

• It is not often that I get a good laugh from reading 'Motoring' weekend review, but Eddie Cunningham's article (June 16) regarding his fear of tackling the infamous Irish roundabout, the behaviour of other drivers and their lack of knowledge on how to approach or exit them safely, put me in complete agreement with him.

I then happened to notice the sign illustrated to show a roundabout ahead; I had to check it a couple of times ... yes, I am right, the arrows are going in the wrong direction.

Eddie, if the rest of the signs in your area are similar, I don't blame you for being scared witless. Maybe, with all of the present cutbacks, the council bought them second-hand from Spain?
