Forcing TDs to kit out while living nightmares are being avoided

IN recent days I have become convinced I am living in a Kafkaesque dream and not Ireland. Many charlatans from banking and business circles have remarkably not been brought before the courts.

However, these same courts have seen fit to say the wages of the lowest paid of our fellow citizens are an infringement of their employers' property rights.

Essential frontline services such as those in Roscommon Hospital are being cut and hundreds of thousands of people are unemployed, but despite this someone in our Dail felt it a worthwhile use of their time to draw up a new dress code.
