Forced labour a disgraceful act

WHEN almost half of the national workers' pool is unemployed, mostly through no fault of their own, it is beyond comprehension that Social Protection Minister Eamon O Cuiv (surely the most inappropriate title of all?) is now (encouraged, no doubt by his enclave of permanent, pensionable untouchables in the public service) proposing to force unfortunate, skilled, unemployed loyal citizens to prostrate themselves publicly along public roads doing unskilled labouring to keep their social welfare entitlements.
This is just another disgraceful act in a whole series of government blunders that once again illustrates the differences between the haves and the have-nots of modern Ireland.
