Following the FF paper trail

Is it too cynical to wonder how many papers have been 'lost' when Fianna Fail has been in government, and how many papers, about events that took place during the Ahern and Cowen governments, which both make the cronyism of the Haughey governments look like child's play, are also currently being shredded to avoid leaving traces for historians in 30 years, or for when the new government takes over in 2011.

Will Michael Noonan reprise the role he played in 1998, when he revealed some of the actions of the Haughey government that had recently left office?
