Follow that star

• It's great to see someone like Colin Farrell turning up visiting sick children in Our Lady's Hospital unannounced, loaded with pressies in hand, then out and about walking in Sandymount and visiting old friends and neighbours.
He has never forgotten where he came from or his roots, and never got above himself either. He is someone who feels and shares our pain. He is 'human', he is one of us and treats us as so, a real salt-of-the-earth person.
It's a pity the rest of Ireland's superstars abroad don't come home more often and walk among the people who put them where they are today. Colin is more action, while the rest are all full of empty words. Have a great new year, Colin.
