Fleeced in our time
•I am going to try one last time to get through to this Government before giving up and lying back to watch while the inevitable happens.
Surely it must be obvious to even a nice guy like Enda Kenny that the policy of appeasement being undertaken by his ministers in relation to the bailout bears an uncanny resemblance to that of Neville Chamberlain; at least in that instance he came back with a piece of paper as a fig leaf, all too similar to that negotiated by our previous lot. We all know what transpired then.
This time we'll end up fighting something a lot less benign.
