FG wallowing in partisan politics

It is ironic that Fine Gael tried to prevent the Tanaiste from travelling to the US this week to attract students to Ireland given they have advocated this policy themselves for some time.

Last March, Fine Gael launched their plan to develop Ireland's reputation globally as a prime international education destination. They claimed the implementation of their plan, 'International Horizons', would create 6,000 jobs and generate €900m in revenue.

In this recent debacle, Fine Gael made clear that they were not committed to working for the betterment of Ireland and were content to wallow in the mucky depths of partisan politics.
