FG used wrong criteria in vote

I was amazed to hear a member of the Fine Gael parliamentary party on radio talking about the emotional nature of the parliamentary party on the leadership of Fine Gael.
This was not, in my opinion, a contest about personalities, but an opportunity to elect someone who has considerable experience and knowledge of the country's dire economic situation.
Enda Kenny may be the nicest, kindest man on Earth but he certainly has no grasp of economic matters.
