It is not about political point scoring, it is about people's lives. Irish people's lives and their right to equality.

Bruce Arnold writes that Fianna Fáil squandered an electoral chance by going along with the 'Yes' vote (Irish Independent, April 28).

It is crystal clear to everyone that Fianna Fáil has squandered any electoral chance for the foreseeable future due to its record and disastrous performance in government - it is certainly nothing to do with this upcoming referendum.
