IN the afterglow of the World Cup and with the excitement of the money-driven Premiership building again, how apt it was for the FAI to launch its new replica jersey.
One of the nicest sights in South Africa was the thousands of fans proudly wearing their countries’ colours.
It was refreshing to see the supporters from all 32 nations, richest to poorest, wearing jerseys that hadn't been pimped out to a telecom company.
