• I would like to respond to one of your letters from July 16. Eric Conway talked about how "same-sex marriage is a necessary part of a progressive and inclusive society".

I believe this is not true. Why? Simply, because it is not God's way. Biologically, two men or two women do not complement each other. Procreation is not possible between two people of the same sex.

Secondly, marriage is a Divine institution, instituted when God created Adam and Eve and "this is why a man leaves his father and mother and becomes attached to his wife, and they become one flesh" (Genesis 1:24).
