Equality and sexual morality

Published 15/04/2010 | 05:00

It makes me sick when I read things like "traditional sexual morality" as written by Martin Deegan (Letters, April 13), especially when it refers to equality. He forgets that by implying that being gay is sub-moral and non-traditional he is being far more bigoted than the argument he is attacking. Does he think that Ireland has been a liberal democracy for several hundred years with the Catholic Church at the helm? The answer is no.
